In the last few weeks of being married, I have been working on my cooking skills, as I am now a wife. And my husband needs to eat. Daily. I mean really what's with that?? (jk.) It's been fun to try new recipes, however, I haven't gotten too far out of the box yet, but I'll get there. I just need to continue to get comfortable with cooking, and trusting that I can do it.
A recipe I tried recently that the hubs and I really loved was a Pinterest find that you can find here on the blog I used. I have always loved bruschetta, so when I found it as an inspiration for a full meal rather than just an appetizer, I was game for trying it. This was something I new could be yummy AND easy to make. And in further light, I wouldn't have to pull out my hair feeling like a dummy in the kitchen.
It was so good in fact, that I forgot to get photos prior to mauling it. But here are a few small peeks. (I sincerely apologize for these photos.. they are not good and I will be sharing better ones on future posts!) I served green beans and potatoes with it.

I found the potato recipe on the back of the Tasteful Selections: Honey Gold Potatoes bag that I bought at Wal Mart. It's super easy and adds a flavor you can't not love!
